Diolaze has a built in skin cooling surface which is one of the largest for all hair removal devices. This makes treatment more comfortable than other devices, with most patients noting that Diolaze is virtually painless.
Generally, clients need about six to eight laser treatments in order to completely get rid of hair. You can expect to see about a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after your first treatment. As you continue your treatments, more and more hair will fall out, and you'll notice that it continues to grow back more slowly.
Diolaze can be safely used on most areas of the body that have unwanted hair. Most commonly treated areas include: bikini, legs, arms, chest, under arms, upper lip, back, shoulders, stomach, neck, chin and sideburns.
Diolaze is safe and effective on all skin types. Even the darkest skin type referred as skin type IV. The cooling system keeps the skin at a comfortable temperature and prevents burning or damaging of the skin.
Please make sure to shave the night before your laser appointment. Avoid sun exposure 2 weeks prior to your appointment. Skin must be clean and free of makeup, lotions, oils, deodorant, sunless tanning products etc. Products on the skin can increase the likelihood of adverse reactions from the laser. Avoid physical activities that increase body temperature for at least 2 hours before treatments.
It is important to shave before your laser hair removal appointment, 24 hours before is recommended. Shaving on the day of your session can be dangerous and should be avoided completely. This is because when you shave the razor may lift a layer of skin off as it passes over your skin.
